Ok everyone, we’ve given a lot of thought in this short time to how we can proceed.

Basically it comes down to everyone wearing a mask while inside the gym, including working out, or developing a system to check vaccination for gym entrance.

If we do the later, you don’t have to wear a mask while working out.

All of the trainers are vaccinated and, we believe, at least 95% of our gym members are vaccinated as well, although that has not been verified.

So, we think it will be easiest if you take a picture of your vaccination card, keep it on your phone, show the trainer this on Friday and Saturday. We will be able to develop a further plan from this knowledge to apply for this exemption by November 1st.

Vaccine Verified Facility & Event Program

As part of the mask order, LCDHE is offering the opportunity for businesses that have implemented vaccine requirements for staff and customers to have additional exceptions from the mask order upon receiving approval from the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment. By verifying that 95% of the individuals in their indoor space are fully vaccinated, Approved Vaccine Verified Facilities and Events receive exceptions to Larimer County's mask order.

A small gym may require all staff to show proof of vaccination in one of the 5 ways listed above (as stated above, all 3 trainers are vaccinated), and implement a policy that all members show proof on their first visit after October 20. New members or clients would be required to provide verification before they begin using the facility.
